Alerting and NotificationsÂ
Emails and Text Notification:
Receive email or text alerts if keys are not returned within a certain time-frame.
Tamper Alarms:
if an unauthorized person attempts to access the cabinet or attempts to break into the cabinet.
Security and Accessing Keys
Each key has a unique identification in the database Keys are assigned to authorized personnel Only authorized personnel have access to unlock the key cabinet using Biometric authentication. An additional security layer prevents keys from being released from the cabinet once the cabinet is open – i.e. keys are assigned to specific people.
Emergency Override:
In an emergency the cabinet security can be overwritten by an authorized manager or supervisor located at a remote site, or a control room. This functionality is made easy via the key manager web interface. An authorized user will generate a one-time pin (OTP) which is then automatically sent to a cell phone of the security officer or manager who needs access to the key.
Reporting:
A complete audit trail is available via reporting and the online web interface Who removed what key? Date and Time the key was removed? Date and Time the key was returned?
The Key Manager Cabinet can be installed as a stand-alone or networked.
